Financial Policies
- The Professional School may at its own discretion increase tuition, not to exceed 25%, as deemed necessary, if done so with at least a 30-day advance notice prior to the start of a trimester.
- The Professional School requires payment of all tuitions due before awarding and/or providing students with transcripts, certificates, certifications, or diplomas.
- Past due student accounts will be charged interest at the rate of 1% of the outstanding balance per month.
- Student accounts more than 90 days past due will be deemed delinquent and may be submitted to a collection agency and/or to credit reporting agencies.
Withdrawal and Tuition Refunds
The Professional School tuition refund policy is as follows:
- Registration cancellation means withdrawing from a specific course, not an entire program. Registrants must withdraw from each course independently.
- Tuition is refunded 100%, less the cost of credit card processing charged by the credit card processing system, if the registrant sends an email to [email protected] at least three working days before the scheduled start date of a specific course offering. There is otherwise no refund for course withdrawal.
- The email regarding withdrawal should include the number and name of ALL courses from which the registrant wishes to withdraw. If the course is not specifically listed in the email, the student will remain registered.
- If an individual course or program is canceled, a student will receive a 100% tuition refund without any deduction for credit card fee charges.
- Refunds are payable within 15 working days of the official date of withdrawal.
- The withdrawal date is defined by the date of an email notification sent to [email protected] by the registrant. The Professional School will at its own discretion determine whether or not proper notification was provided. Telephone messages or text messages will NOT be accepted as notifications. If the Professional School does not receive a notification as described above, the registrant will be ineligible for a refund.
EXAMPLE: A student registers for the Professional Diploma Program, Certified Breathing Behavior Analyst. The student, registered for four 1-unit courses or proseminars, decides to drop out of the program, but fails to inform the Professional School three days in advance of the first course in the sequence. Tuition would NOT be refunded for the first course in the sequence (104) but would be fully refunded for the remaining three courses, less credit card fee charges.
Collections and Legal Actions
In the event of a delinquency or a default in the payment of any amount due or if the account is placed in the hands of an agency or attorney for collection or if legal action is taken to collect any amount due, the student agrees to pay an additional charge equal to all costs of collection including agency and attorney fees and court costs in addition to any judgment amount assessed against the student.
The student expressly agrees that all disputes involving the Professional School shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming applicable to contracts executed in that State, without regard to the conflict of laws principles thereof. Any suit, action or proceeding seeking to enforce any provision of, or based on any matter arising out of or in connection with, the agreement for the Professional School to provide instruction to the student may be brought in any federal or state court located in the State and County in which School has its official headquarters, and each of the parties hereby consents to the jurisdiction of such courts and in any such suit, action or proceeding irrevocably waives, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any objection the venue. Process in any such suit, action or proceeding may be served on any party anywhere in the world, whether within or without the jurisdiction of any such court.
