BREATHING SCIENCE

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation

Breathing Science Inc., a nonprofit corporation, presents ON THE AIR (live) podcasts about breathing and respiration from a scientific perspective including conversations, interviews, demonstrations, presentations, and critiques. These podcasts are archived in a Breathing Science Podcast Library for later access.

We look at breathing from a behavioral perspective and embrace critical thinking that helps separate fact from fiction and fact from opinion that is fundamental to evolving a genuine breathing science while discouraging popular misleading and misguided pseudoscience. Coming from this perspective, our podcasts speak to a wide range of content areas including athletics, breathing behavior analysis, consciousness, corporate wellness, counseling, education, healthcare, medicine, mental health, performance, performing arts, physiology, psychology, research, and breathing techniques.

Breathing that supports health and performance is important to everyone and is relevant in more ways than most people imagine. Many of us, for example, compromise our respiration without even realizing we are doing so and attribute its outcomes to other causes. In our podcasts, we endeavor to bring this kind of fascinating, relevant, and important science and its practical applications to your attention.

Podcast Subscribers and Podcast Members may join us ON THE AIR and ask questions and actively participate during live podcasts, including asking questions about their own breathing issues. Subscriptions are free; Subscribers may attend the live podcasts and watch the recording of the most recent podcast up until the next podcast has been scheduled. Memberships require a small annual donation; Members, unlike Subscribers, have access to the Podcast Library, that is, all previously recorded podcasts.
